A Learning Center for Kids!!!
Kids 4 Real Inc. (K4R) is a small community-based diverse child care center that serves children 2.5 to 12 years old. We have been a staple in the Whittier neighborhood for more than 20 years. Our mission is to create a caring, safe and developmentally appropriate environment for our children. We provide an inclusive environment along with quality care for children through a cooperative partnership between parents and staff. Our goal is to support children's desire to be leaders and life-long learners.
Staff
All teachers at K4R, at a minimum, have a Colorado Professional Credential Level II, Teacher Qualification Certificate in Early Childhood Education from the State of Colorado, and/or a AA, BA, or MA. Our staff is also trained and certified in First Aid/CPR & Universal Precautions.
Curriculum
Our classroom study is in alignment with Colorado Shines State Standards. The Creative Curriculum (curriculum used in our classroom) and My Teaching Strategies (academic assessment program used in our classroom) supports children’s pre-literacy, math, motor, music, art and science skills.
